KATAPILLAR OUTDOOR GATHERING
September 9-12 2010
Enid Lake, Invermere BC
KATAPILLAR is an experiment in ultimate freedom. We are simply
the Katalyst to inspire you to share your talents and create.
This
momentous gathering is FREE and open to anyone. It will happen
around a glorious lake in the mountains surrounded by miles
of untouched wilderness. You are free to camp where you wish
and make a stage or sound-system, dj, perform,
sell food or merchandise, dance, laugh and explore! NO TRACE MUST BE LEFT OF THIS EVENT ONCE IT IS OVER.
There is no clean up crew, no paid security, and nothing provided
other than the location and two outhouses near the entrance.
We
need to self-govern in a peaceful manner.
We need to take care of ourselves, each other and the environment.
With care and attention the Katapillar Project will become
a Butterfly!

LOCATION:
Enid Lake, Just North of Invermere, Alberta
From Invermere, follow the signs for Panorama Ski Area on
Toby Creek Rd. Watch for signs to "Wilmer" just
at the edge of town, and follow
Wilmer Rd to the small community.
The
last main road on the left as you reach the end of Wilmer
(Park Street) will eventually turn into Bruce Crk FSR.
You will pass tiny Wilmer Lake on your left, a little over
2km from there you'll come to a major spur with some signs
of a fire pit.
Stay right, if come to a large camping area full of gypsy
RVs ... you're in the right place. Scant meters farther is
the lakeshore and rec site.
